A bantamweight contest between sluggers Takeya Mizugaki (12-3-2 MMA, 1-1 WEC) and Damacio Page (12-4 MMA, 3-1 WEC) is currently in the works for December's as-yet-unannounced WEC 45 event.

Sherdog.com was the first to report the contest, and MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has confirmed that verbal agreements are in place for the contest, though bout agreements have yet to be distributed.

As MMAjunkie.com first reported, WEC 45 is expected to take place Dec. 19 in Las Vegas. MMAjunkie.com has also learned that The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort, site of November's WEC 44 event, will likely play host to the Versus-broadcast event.
