This fight is a no-brainer to me. HOw the UFC wouldn't make this fight is beyond me.


It would make no sense to make any fight for either guy at all.

Man, I'm getting really sick and tired of that show. Not because it isn't something to watch, but because the damn UFC won't stop putting high profile fighters on it and wasting several months of their careers. The UFC gets everything it deserves as far as injuries with the way they put these fights off for so long. Guys like Shogun have no business coaching some stupid show that is like in it's 18th season or whatever. Big Nog or LIl Nog are perfect for it though. He teaches all kinds of guys, and neither are contenders. These are the guys that should be on this show. NOt guys like Shogun who are very relevant at the top of the division. Shogun is always getting injured to, so putting Shogun on some show where he has all this extra training time is just asking for another big injury for Shogun. The UFC never learns man.

And on top of that, what on earth are they doing thinking about a match up between Shogun and Lil Nog? Lil Nog has been a total disaster in the UFC. One boring fight after another with him, and he can't beat anyone any good. This match up would be just as silly as the one with Vera. If Lil Nog were to win, the UFC would literally be trying to sell Lil Nog to the fans as some sort of top contender. IF Glover Texeria was bad for Shogun's career, than what in the fuck would Lil Nog do to his career?

I loved what they did with what i think was Season 3 of Tuf? where it was Rich Franklin Vs Matt Hughes so they didn't have to Fight each other now all they need to do is take guys who aren't in the top 10 and put them on the show and even make it so they don't have to Fight one another just make it so they both fight on the same card when there done or something, Tuf Brazil 2 could be Little Nog Vs Big Nog then have them both Fight on the UFC 153 card or something like that or even 2 Fighters who aren't that popular so we can get to know them, do like Glover Teixeira Vs Thiago Alves and have them Main Event and Co Main Event a free card after the show is done that would be freaking crazy

That's awkward. But it makes sense for the TUF. I guess if that happens, winner of that fight, fights the winner Machida x Jones/Hendo winner.

Who does Gus fight then? Rematch Phil Davis? Vera?

The division is thin.., there aren't many big fights for him. Unless they give me maybe Rashad.

That would be a perfect fight to gauge how good Gust is and if he's title shot worthy .

I don't like that fight, only because the division is too thin as it is, with this fight you eliminate 1 serious contender, and there just isn't enough of them right now.

But everyone has been crying out for a fight to see if Gustafsson is the next challenger, well this is that fight in my opinion. I know it knocks 1 guy back but that's what happens when you are in a must win fight to get at the belt.

I would normally agree with you, but the division is just too thin at the moment.....give him Bader...Bader is just a gate keeper now anyways....
