Champs Jon Jones vs. Anderson Silva not likely any time soon

A couple things....the highest ranking I could find for Forrest in Aug of '09 when the fight happened was 6...but it was a quick search.
Next, I have stated I thought Jones was being almost as big of a pussy in this scenerio as Silva.....and the only reason I say ALMOST is because Jones has expressed in the past he would fight Silva and right off the bat, Silva said he wouldn't fight Jones, as they were "friends".

Hes implying that Silva is scared to fight LHWs, where he's beaten two easily already. And because Jones has offered to fight at HW (reportedly) that's more significant than Silva actually already fought LHWs. I just remembered that Silva offered to fight Frank Mir when he was a Top 5 HW, Dana would not permit. However, these things are easily forgotten by a heart full of hatred

Why doesn't Silva want to fight Jones? He wanted Mir at HW but not Jones at LHW or catchweight? Why? Because he knows he can beat Mir? He knows Jones can beat him?

Silva knows he can't beat Jones, just like he knew he couldn't beat Sonnen and whatever fighters he's ducked in the past as well.

He moved up to LHW and was successful, as you pointed out 1000000 times already. My guess is that he wants to move up to LHW and challenge someone he knows he can beat. Did Forrest challenge him before they fought? Is that why he moved up to fight Forrest?

Both times he was asked to move up, he never decided to move up. He just did so cause the UFC asked him to. He always said he was gonna stay at MW.
