Former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion, Miesha Tate has today let rip at the woman that beat her for the title so spectacularly earlier this year, Ronda Rousey, as Tate labels the “Rowdy” one a hypocrite for posing nude for ESPN.

To be honest, I kinda thought the same thing as Miesha Tate when I saw the photos.
I kept hearing the line in my head from Rousey stating that she wouldn't want her daughter seeing her nude and exposed to the world... but then again, she isn't showing any vaginal cleft in any of those photos like the ring girls did.
Even when I'm 100% certain of a fight outcome, I'm only 75% sure... and of that, there's only a 50/50 shot that I'm right.
Too many people prefer the blue pill... me, I prefer the red pill.
The problem confronting the world today is that the world is full of ideologues who are more concerned with promoting their ideology than dealing in the facts.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Meisha certainly has a right to hers.
I've got no problem with what Ronda did in posing for ESPN. She was singled out as an athlete, and photograped, among other men and women, as an athlete. Her accomplishments, including absolutley destroying Meisha Tate, stand on their own, and are in no way dimninished by appearing in a well respected national publication in a tasteful celebration of the human form.
Also have no problem with Arianny or Brittany posing sexually and provocatively naked in Playboy. I'm sure they were well compensated for their appearance, and I'm sure many of their fans enjoyed the opportunity to fulfill the fantasy of seeing those beautiful young women nude.
To compare the shots Rousey did for ESPN to the layouts the ring girls have done is both disingenuous and hypocritical. The whole reason Ronda is in that magazine is because of who she is and what she's done in her chosen field, having been an Olympic medal winner and now a world champion in women's MMA. Maybe Meisha is just disappointed she was not offered either opportunity...
Well Miesha is just stating the obvious really. Ronda chided Miesha because there are pictures of Miesha on the internet in a thong. Then 2 months later Ronda does nude photos in ESPN. It's an obvious double-standard.
So, she's obviously right, but she's obviously being catty too.
I'd rather see Miesha naked myself. But Ronda is a far better fighter.
