It's easy to say that now, hindsight 20/20 n all. He held the belt longer than anyone for quite a while. It's easy to say well he wasn't that good now because the talent level has risen so much so rapidly. At the time he was the best and yes I agree the talent level was not anywhere near what it is now. It's like the Fedor argument. What you're doing though is comparing fighters from different eras even though he just retired. It's like saying Elgin Baylor or Wilt Chamberlin suck compared Jordan or Kobe. Thing is I think I he'd lose most times as well, but it's unrealistic to expect him to beat Jones. To say he'd never beat him though is even more unrealistic. In Mma all it takes is that one shot to end a night. Plus a Tito with more spring in his step, speed, and vicious GNP was always a threat to anyone.

    Dana White -
If people are tired of seeing fights, I'm fucked!
    Bill Struth -
Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers.
