‘UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman’ Salaries Released

The California State Athletic Commission has released the official salaries for all of the contestants who competed in Wednesday’s “UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman” event.
Courtesy of his victory over Mark Munoz (Pictured) in the card’s featured attraction, Chris Weidman was the night’s highest earner. Weidman scored $42,000, with half of his check coming via win bonus.
Munoz, meanwhile, pocketed $42k for his efforts.
Please keep in mind, the numbers that get reported to the athletic commissions are only of what’s required. These figures do not include deductions for items such as licenses and taxes.
Additionally, they do not contain money paid by sponsors or any bonuses from the UFC. These royalties can include Fight Night bonuses, top secret discretionary bonuses, etc., which can oftentimes represent a substantial portion of a fighter’s total income.
HP Pavilion in San Jose hosted yesterday’s show.

Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers.
