ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The New Jersey State Athletic Control Board has medically suspended seven fighters from Friday's UFC on FX 4 event.
Main-event winner Gray Maynard and co-main-event victorSam Stout are among the suspended.
Stout, in fact, was one of three fighters suspended indefinitely along with preliminary-card competitors Joey Gambino and Nick Catone.
UFC on FX 4 took place at Revel Atlantic City in New Jersey. Main-card fights aired on FX following prelims on FUEL TV and Facebook.
Maynard, who picked up a split-decision victory over Clay Guida in the night's headliner, is suspended 45 days due to a facial laceration.
Stout, who toppedSpencer Fisher via unanimous decision in their co-headlining trilogy fight, is suspended indefinitely, though a physician can clear him early following an X-ray of his facial/orbital bones. Regardless, he's suspended 45 days due to facial lacerations.
Fisher, meanwhile, also is suspended 45 days due to a facial laceration.
Gambino, who suffered a submission loss to Steven Siler, is suspended indefinitely, though a physician can clear him early following a CT scan of his facial bones. Regardless, he's suspended 90 days due to a facial laceration.
Catone, who suffered a third-round TKO loss toChris Camozzi due to a deep forehead gash, is suspended indefinitely, though a physician can clear him early following an X-ray of his nose. Regardless, he's suspended 60 days due to the laceration.
Ross Pearson , who suffered a TKO loss to Cub Swanson, is suspended 45 days due his facial laceration.
And finally, Luis Ramos, who suffered a second-round TKO loss to Matt Brown, is suspended 30 days because of his facial laceration.
