Round 1 - Dan Miragliotta is our ref. Miller comes forward with the first punch. Funch tries an inside kick. Miller lands a nice kick to the body that has the crowd quite happy for the home-state favorite. Funch jabs just off Miller's forehead. They each cover up and block nicely to keep a couple punches at bay. High kick from Miller after an exchange is mostly blocked. Funch returns with a punch to the body, then ties the action up on the fence. He looks for knees as Miller tries to block. Miller tries to circle off and does, then looks to get things to the mat. It's not there for long before Funch has it back up and looking to stay clinched. But after they break, Miller comes firing forward and gets a few punches off – though Funch returns fire and lands a couple of his own. As the crowd chants Miller's name, Funch slows things down on the fence again. At the 30-second mark, they're broken up. Funch lands a few shots just as the round comes to a close. Keeping the theme tonight so far, it's a close round. MMAjunkie.com will go 10-9 for Funch, but it could go either way.

Round 2 - Miller comes forward and lands some nice punches, and as Funch tries to tie things up Miller goes for a standing guillotine. He can't keep it, though. and after they break apart, Funch comes forward with a charging kick, then some punches. He shoots for a takedown 75 seconds in, but Miller stuffs it and again looks to crank on a standing guillotine. Funch slips it and ties things back up again. After a bit of a stalemate, the fight hits the ground, where again Miller looks for a choke. He can't keep it, and Funch stays standing with Miller on his back looking for upkicks while Funch tries to do damage somehow from up top. Finally Miller is able to get back up, to the delight of the crowd. Funch keeps him pushes on the cage. Miller again looks for a guillotine, but it's not there. Hard to tell just how much that will score with the judges. It's another close one and just depends on what judges are looking for. But with the submission attempts MMAjunkie.com will go 10-9 for Miller.

Round 3 - Miller gets off some nice shots as he pushes Funch back. After the brief exchange, Funch smiles and lands a jab of his own. But out of nowhere, Miller drops FUnch with a big shot. He hits the mat and the crowd goes nuts for their Jersey boy. Miller is on him and looking for enough ground and pound for a stoppage. But Funch avoids it and survives. He giets back to his feet, but Miller is is forward again and landing. As Funch backs out, he falls right to his butt and looks dazed. He pops back up, and amazingly just seconds later, he's getting the better of a takedown and on top. But Miller fairly quickly wall walks back to his feet. With about two minutes left, both look tired. Funch has things tied up, but Miller jumps guard looking again for a guillotine, and he has it. It's tight. Funch is in trouble, and Miller rolls with it as Funch tries to roll out. But he can't slip it. He has to tap. Big win for Jersey's own, and the early crowd loves it. Dan Miller def.
