Alistair Overeem: I will be fighting in December

The past few months have been rather tumultuous for former Strikeforce heavyweight champion and hopeful UFC heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem.

Overeem was scheduled to fight current UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos for a shot at the title, when a random drug test found his testosterone to epitestosterone ratio to be 14-1 and the legal ratio limit is 6-1. Overeem was then suspended for nine months by the NSAC and was replaced by Frank Mir in his bout against JDS.

Now, the heavyweight has taken to his Twitter and stated that he will be back to fight in December and is looking to take the belt with him.

Hopefully he stays clean but I suspect there will be an application for TRT usage in the pipeline.

Yep, the cat and mouse games continue, that's why the random testing helps curb cheaters a little bit, makes them work harder. Hopefully he does come back so that he can fight Dos.....it still makes a great title fight.

But I think Dos should request olympic style tesing for this fight just like floyd did to pac. I have a feeling overroid wouldn't like that idea.
