I don't see how he can get to like 176lbs or 182lbs back when he was trying to fight at welter weight and then not be able to make 185lbs.

Practice my friend, practice. When you keep practicing how to miss weight, you will become very, very good at it.

I don't think he needs any practice. He's a natural. Its like he was born to miss weight.

Johnson is a big wild card at this point. He never became elite at 170 even, so there is no telling if he continues to get better at these other weight classes or not. Will he be slower, weaker against bigger guys?

The two fights that really stand out with him were Koscheck and against Vitor. I had a friend that thought that Johnson was just going to pillage through Vitor, and I kept reminding him at how easily Kos took his will in that match up and how the minute that things got rough for him, that he gave in pretty quickly. I didn't see the spirit of a warrior in him once he found adversity. Once that fight started with Vitor and he started getting tagged he wanted no part of the stand up, and once he couldn't get a lot done on the ground with Vitor and he lost dominant position to Vitor he folded like an old dollar bill. It seems to me that Johnson looks great when things go his way early on where he can capitalize, but asking him to fight through adversity in a "war" is a difficult task for him. He seems more like a superior athlete as opposed to being a true "fighter."

Yep, true say.........I thought AJ was going to be a force when he moved up to MW....didn't think he'd beat Vitor, but I thought he'd be top 5 easily.....I guess I gotta stop drinking the AJ "Kool-Aid".

I also thought the same. I wasn't so sure about him beating Vitor or not, being a Vitor hugger, I was really scared going into that fight.

    Same here man.
Even when I'm 100% certain of a fight outcome, I'm only 75% sure... and of that, there's only a 50/50 shot that I'm right.
