Dana White Is the 32nd Most Influential Man in the World

    (Kingmaker. Lip-licker.)
...at least according to our friends at AskMen who released their Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2010 list today. Although the UFC president placed a lot higher last year, White's #32 ranking puts him ahead of such notable males as Justin Timberlake (#33) and Kobe Bryant (#45). Unfortunately, he's still two spots behind the freaking Old Spice Dude.
To determine the rankings, over 500,000 votes were cast by AskMen readers, who were asked to decide "which male figures have made the biggest impact, and ultimately, shaped what it means to be a modern man in 2010." Of course, when you leave this sort of thing up to popular vote, the results always wind up a little disassociated from logic. For example, President Barack Obama is only the 21st most influential man this year (down from #3 last year). James Franco is #7. Sure. Why not.

That's pretty laughable I have to say
I respect different sexual orientations, but I advise him not to touch me... - Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic

Jon Lober said he wanted to strangle me like Jonbenet Ramsey. I found that pretty crude...so I kicked the shit out of him... - Frank Shamrock

I've been doing this since BJ was in his father's nutsack - Renzo Gracie

Tim Sylvia! Hahaha...no, it didn't last very long. - Fedor Emelianenko

Yes, I remember stomping his face. - Badr Hari

While I think it's good that people reading Ask Men actually know who Dana is, putting him on a list like this is a joke. But had to pause for second and actually read the site. I wasn't sure if Dana was a joke for being on the list or the whole list was a joke. So I read what the list is about.

More than half a million AskMen readers voted, along with the staff of AskMen, to determine the Top 49 Most Influential Men of 2010. The men who made the list come from all backgrounds- - politics, sports, entertainment, technology, philanthropy -- but every single man on the list is a groundbreaker in his respective field, and some are even outright rule-breakers. These are the men history will remember as having defined 2010. More importantly, they're the men who inspire the rest of us to become Better Men.
So, with that said and me making the one section Bold, Dana does deserve to be on this list for that part alone. But all in all, the joke is pretty much a joke all together. Looking at the, they have Kobe at 45, how is he an influential man, he's a great basketball player but that's it. Ok, I made it to the mid 30's, I'm done with it, just another silly list.

Agreed! I heard Kanye West say he was the voice for my generation once... I almost threw up in my mouth. If that is the case I would love for my generation to get a bad case of laryngitis
