Steven Seagal is training Anderson Silva, caught on vid and it's not a joke.

UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva is getting a little help with his upcoming title defense against Chael Sonnen at UFC 117 from the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. "The Spider" has enlisted the services of former Hollywood action star Steven Seagal to help him train for his upcoming fight on Aug. 7. Sonnen is certainly "marked for death" and "under siege" now that the Brazilian has received training from the "half-past dead" Aikido master.

Actually Steven is a badass, he may not have ever fought professionally but he certainly could have. I would rather get paid millions to be a movie star too.

I actually agree Humble, Seagal's aikido is very, very legit. What he accomplished as a white dude in Japan was unheard of. I did enjoy watching the Vid and think it's good that Silva is hitting the other arts. I'm sure he's smart enough to only take the parts from each art that will work with his game. But I can see a good chop coming from him and laugh my ass off if it scores.

i actually think this could be a good idea. aikido is a kick ass martial art. id love to learn it. whether seagal actually has fought or not is irrelvent to me, as long as he can teach me the roots of the art, im down.
