I saw a thread on another forum that mentioned how Dos Santos easily beat two K-1 strikers. So I decided to take a quick look at Dos Santos's MMA record, he has defeated 3 K-1 Strikers. Dos Santos has T/KO'd Gilbert Yvel, Mirko Cro Cop and submitted Eduardo Maiorino. On paper this looks phenomenal and you could easily just say, "Dos Santos is the best striker in MMA". But I've decided to take a closer look at the 3 kickboxers Dos Santos has beaten.

Eduardo Maiorino is 53-39 in kickboxing. This is not a very good record and in MMA he is 3-9. Maiorino is a multiple

I just can't seem to wrap my head around it. The month of April gave us MMA every weekend, specifically the UFC brand of MMA. We had 4 UFc events in the month of April, UFC 159, UFC on FOX 7, TUF 17 Finale and the Fuel 9 card, then suddenly, NOTHING. Now it's only 3 weeks in between events, but it see,s like an eternity, and it has me thinking, why doesn't the UFC have regularly scheduled events????

NASCAR, for the most part has their races every Sunday, NFL play their games on Sundays, again, for the most part, English soccor is every Saturday......point
