This was another one our efforts at a "freestyle" show, and was recorded on April 28, 2013, and released May 5, 2013.

We're going to be doing at least one show every month, and release the video towards the end of each month, or in the first week of the following month.

The Live Chat Hour show gave us an idea to create a roundtable show where we interview MMA fighters and chat a little MMA with them. We're calling that show, "The MMA Crypt Roundtable Discussion," we have several Roundtable shows in production now, and several other Roundtable shows in pre-production.

We're recording a show next Sunday with a very special guest who just recently became the Champ !

Hello Crypters,

We have a new show for our members and MMA fans to listen to, it's called 'The MMA Crypt Roundtable Discussion' show.

'The MMA Crypt Roundtable Discussion'show is where we have a 30 minute or so chat between the staff at MMA Crypt, and a guest or two sitting down at the Roundtable to chat some MMA between each other.

This is our debut show, and we had a special guest on the show to chat a little MMA with Dirty Daley and myself. Some of you will probably recall Chris Tickle from the TUF 15 live season on the FX network... we titled this show : "The MMA Crypt Roundtable Discussion Debut, With Chris Tickle."

In our debut Roundtable show, we had a chat with Chris Tickle about MMA, his experience on the TUF 15 show, and Chris was kind enough to answer about a dozen questions that members and staff compiled for him.

The show was recorded on April 7, 2013, and released April 12, 2013.

We're going to be doing random Roundtable Discussions shows as time allows, but we invite the Crypt's members to take part along with us... we'll also be looking to have more MMA fighters joining us at the Roundtable as well.

We had a couple of audio issues with show 3 that caused us to do some serious audio editing to the show, which in turn caused us to be a bit late with a timely release... but we have such a good time doing the Live Chat Hour show that we weren't going to allow that to stop us from doing show 3.

I have to disclose right up front, that I have never been a fan of Mikey Bisping for a number of reasons.

I have been a long-term MMA and I never was interested in chatting on-line about anything at all, up until the Hamill vs. Bisping match-up at UFC 75 where Matt Hamill was clearly and blatantly robbed of his well deserved win against Mikey... and then immediately post fight in the cage, Mikey acted like a disrespectful and classless buffoon who was the only person in the arena other than the incompetent judges who believed that he won the fight !

That night on September 08, 2007 at UFC 75 was the beginning of my venture into the virtual world of on-line MMA chatting with other MMA fans, because I was so outraged that not only judges could be so totally incompetent, but that an MMA fighter could be so disrespectful, tactless, and classless in a situation where he was gifted an undeserving win.

Yeah that fight was 6 years ago, but in addition to that... without going into detail, Mikey was about as low an an individual can get on "The Ultimate Fighter 3" season where he intentionally and repeatedly made efforts to cause injury to Matt Hamill in an effort to take Hamill out of the competition during the show because he felt Hamill was getting more attention from coach Tito Ortiz than he was, but we all know it was probably that cry for attention as well as the fact that Hamill was Mikey's only real threat on Season 3 of TUF.

Those reasons above and the fact that I can't stand his typical and usual style of fighting where he constantly moves backwards looking to counter strike during the entire fight... that's not the style of fighting that's gonna win you a championship in MMA, and specifically not on the "big stage" that is the UFC.

I've never cared for the fighters who play the heel character in such a brash and tactless manner... leave that sort childish emoting for the string of characters in the fantasy world of entertainment wrestling, those WWE style antics belong in the world of pretend fighting that "Professional Wrestling" has become and not the sport of MMA.

With that said, I almost became a fan of Mikey Bisping last night... almost, but once again Mikey put me off with his dirty tactics.

I went way out on a limb when I picked Alan Belcher to win by KO in round 2 in the match-up against Mikey Bisping last night at UFC 159, thinking that Belcher was serious when he said he was going to put the pressure on Mikey from the start.

Knowing that this is not the sort of style that Mikey responds to well in the octagon, I honestly believed that Belcher had a decent shot at beating Mikey... Belcher did nothing of the sort, and he looked out of his league in his match-up against Bisping last night.

Mikey put on one of the best performances of his career, and he even actually moved forward in the fight dictating the pace of the fight, outscoring Belcher at will, and by an extremely large margin.

This is exactly the style of fighting that Mikey needs to utilize if he ever wants to become a champ in the UFC... but in my opinion, Mikey wont be successful in an effort to employ that game plan against higher caliber fighters in the UFC, as he clearly stumbles each and every time he is presented an opportunity to take on higher caliber UFC fighters.

Again, I almost became a fan of Mikey last night, but the sad thing is... after doing so well, Mikey looked to utilize dirty tactics once again in his fight and brutally poked Belcher in the eye which effectively ended the fight.

So Mikey moving forward and dictating the pace of the fight is a good thing... but what's being called an "unintentional eye poke" is anything but that when you've got your hand open and fingers spread while sticking your hand in the face of your opponent.

At least he wasn't his usual smarmy smart-ass unlikable character after the fight was over... so at least he's got that goin' for him.

The "UFC Tonight" show on FUEL TV had Georges St. Pierre on live last night, and GSP said in so many words that because he was out for so long with an injury that his division has changed so much that he still hasn't cleaned-out his division.

He also said in regard to the Silva superfight, that if he moves up in weight to take that fight he wont be going back down in weight because it's going to take too much time to put on the muscle and weight to fight Silva... but he will fight whoever the UFC tells him to fight next.

I don't believe that at this point in time this is the best course of action for a couple of reasons...

First off, GSP hasn't looked all that impressive to me in his first 2 fights back since his injury... and it's my opinion that Silva will have no trouble whatsoever in taking the victory over GSP when Georges apparently isn't back fighting near the level he was at prior to the long layoff which basically renders him unprepared to take on the much bigger man.

Secondly... it wouldn't be right to pass-over Johny Hendricks yet again for a title shot, when virtually everybody, fans and professionals alike, know that Hendricks is long overdue his well deserved title shot.

I was just watching the "UFC Tonight" show on FUEL TV, and Daniel Cormier is predicting the biggest upset in UFC history at UFC 159... even bigger than the Matt Serra upset over Georges St. Pierre back in 2007 at UFC 69 !

Daniel Cormier is predicting a Chael Sonnen 5 round decision victory over Jonny "Bones" Jones at UFC 159 come this Saturday, April 27, 2013 !

Comments also made by Daniel Cormier and Kenny Florian while at the anchor desk on the "UFC Tonight" show, were in regard to Jones' apparent inability to distinguish fact from fantasy when it comes to Chael Sonnen's pre-fight promotion, stating that this mindset has lead to some very odd and awkward interviews with Jones.

It would seem that after Vitor Belfort nearly put an end to Jon Jones' 7 fight winning streak via a nasty armbar at UFC 152 back in September of 2012, some of the chatter of Jones' invincibility is starting to fade away... especially when the hosts of a UFC program on FUEL TV are openly speaking about Jones' potential demise.

Personally... I'd love to see Daniel Cormier's fight night prediction come to pass, as I've grown tired of the man that the young Jon Jones has become.

I'm not sure if there are many Eagles fans here at the Crypt, but the Eagles were always one of my favorite bands since the early 70s.

The incredible harmonies, heart-felt lyrics, passionate songwriting, and after the band progressed to a more rock-oriented sound after adding Don Felder to the band, then later on Joe Walsh, made for some incredible lead guitar work on top of everything I already enjoyed about the accumulative talents of the band members.

I watched the "History of The Eagles" on Showtime the other day, and enjoyed it so much that I watched it again tonight after we finished recording the second "MMA Crypt Live Chat Hour" show.

If you're an Eagles fan, I highly recommend this 2 part documentary... it reminded of the days when I played in rock-n-roll bands with all of the unseen drama that goes on in a band, while outwardly to the public the magic of the music and the camaraderie between the band members appears to be perfect.

It rarely ever is, and the tension between the band members almost inevitably comes to a boiling point between the musical direction the band is headed in, along with the envy between the musicians, creative differences and who is actually the "leader" of the band responsible for the sound of the band.

I can't list all of my favorite Eagles tunes, but here are some of my favorites...

I always liked Volkmann for not being afraid to speak-up about his feelings in this ridiculous politically correct world that is being forced upon us... even when confronted by the Secret Service.

I wonder if the move to cut him was politically motivated in any way ?

I mean, after what appeared to be his initial UFC jitters he seemed to be doing fairly well on the "Big Stage" that the UFC is.

There was some chatter among MMA fans and those in the MMA industry in regard to the official judging, and the outcome of the Ulysses Gomez vs. Phil Harris bout on the FUEL TV 7 card.

Many fans and some industry insiders are in disagreement with the judges' scoring of the bout, and believe that Gomez was "robbed" of a win.

I noticed that Ariel Helwani chimed-in on this as well on Twitter immediately after the final bell.

Gomez also feels that he did more than enough to win the decision, and is not happy with the determination of the judges.

In our live discussion of the event, we also saw evidence of extremely poor / hometown judging that unfairly impacted the scores of more than one fight... but the fan and insider consensus of this fight's outcome seems to be that Gomez was indeed "robbed" by inept judging ala Cecil Peoples.

There's been lots of chatter in the MMA world since the demise of Strikeforce became undeniable, and a definitive day & date seems to have been engraved on their tombstone in preparation of their burial... January 12, 2013 will apparently be the final event for the Strikeforce organization, and the day their doors close for business.

So from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 12, 2013 we'll get to see the "Strikeforce : Marquardt vs. Saffiedine" event, which will be comprised of the remnants of the Strikeforce roster that remained tried and true to the organization that employed them, or the talent that wasn't scooped-up in an effort to both enhance the UFC's talent pool as well as intentionally weaken Strikeforce as a viable MMA organization... which was apparently due to unfavorable contractual terms between the Strikeforce/Forza/Showtime and Zuffa clusterfuck.

When you get right down to things, that's exactly what the Zuffa organization appears to be repeating over and again... we saw it with Pride, the WEC, and now Strikeforce.

I'm not the Fertitta brothers nor Dana Fuckin' White, so I have no idea how deep their pockets are... but I don't understand the business strategy behind spending multiple millions of dollars to slowly collapse an organization, unless it's simply to wipeout your competition by purchasing the organization, and pick-up the quality talent while doing so... but you'd think that wouldn't be cost effective !

...but then again, we keep seeing 2nd and 3rd tier MMA organizations pop-up and grab the former UFC fighters and castaways, only to see Zuffa repeat the process of acquiring these organizations when they start to grow and gain some sort of notoriety and market share.

It seems like a vicious never-ending-cycle to me.

So why not keep one of these organizations alive as a "feeder / minor league" division of the UFC to put the fighters who are "on their way out" into the minor leagues and give them a chance of reviving their careers before making them a "free agent," not to mention up-and-comers, along with guys from TUF shows who clearly have talent but didn't make it into the UFC.

That seems like a no-brainer to me !

We all know there's something else in the works behind-the-scenes for Zuffa, now that they successfully killed-off Strikeforce... but will the way they handled the Showtime situation hurt them down the road with other broadcast organizations ?

I'm thinking since DFW has a new found affection for women's MMA, it's going to be a move geared towards acquiring another MMA competitor with a solid roster of women fighters.

My question is... Who's next on the Zuffa acquisition table ?
