Very, very valid and I agree 100%. I know I've gotten extremely sick and tired of every LHW champ since Liddel getting thrown into the P4P talk. Now it's Shogun's turn. I've always said, winning the belt is easy, defending is where real champs are made. If memory serves me correct, there has been only 1 legit title defense since Chuck lost the belt. So again, I agree, no "era" since Chuck. This may be the beginning of a Shogun "era" but he need 2 wins before I'll sign off on it.

Great read! My dad and uncles where all into Karate back in the day and growing up all we ever watched where Bruce Lee movies. Always good to read pieces like this that give some insight into Jeet Kune Do. Thanks for the knowledge.
Very cool read, before Silat, I studied Wing Chun. More of Bruce Lee's non-Classical Wing Chun. I still love the hands of Wing Chun and I'm guessing a lot of it carried over to JKD. Again, good read.
