There was no "Machida Era." Simple. Just as there was no "Evans Era", "Griffin Era", or "Rampage Era"... Shogun Rua put an end to such nonsense. Quite simply, there have only been three eras in the UFC Light-heavyweight division -- "Shamrock Era", "Ortiz Era", and "Liddell Era" -- and with that said, there is no "Shogun Era."
