June 11th will be a big day for Indiana MMA fighters and fans! Because June 11th means it's Time for
HFC 4: Showdown at the Steel Yard! Presented by the Hoosier Fight Club. HFC 4 will feature some of the biggest bouts
in Indiana MMA History including a Main event of TUF 6 veteran and HFC partner John Kolosci and 9 time UFC veteran Luigi Fioravanti! Also on as the Co-Main event there will be Lew Polley vs Anthony Gomez! Polley has trained with some of the biggest names in the sport at American Top Team, Team Quest, and now Team Alliance. His opponent Anthony Gomez trains under Torres MMA, which is the school ran by former WEC Bantamweight Champ Miguel Torres.
Also on the Professional card there will be Jake Rosenbaum who will be making his professional debut after rising through the amateur ranks and getting a first round KO over Matt Baker in HFC 3. Also fighting will be Mark Miller who actually had a crack on the TUF 9 season! There are also a few more pro bouts also on the card!
But whats an Indiana MMA card without the future of the sport!? The Amateur Circuit! With a great amateur card your
sure to see great fights all night with these high calibur fighters! On the card we have Brady Hovermale who is fighting out of
765 Combat Club fighting Jorge Gonzales who went to a 3 round decision over David Shoemaker at HFC 3! Brandon Thomerson out of MaKame MMA who recently had a controversial loss to the ICF Featherweight Champion Ian Axsom and is looking to make up for that loss to his fans,fighting Ralph Nurse out of LA boxing who fought through a grueling 3 rounds with Mike White and lost recently at HFC 3! With both of these fighters looking to make up for tough losses its sure to be an exciting fight! Also we have Devin Miller out of 765 Combat Club and also the Bulldog Fight Series 155lb Champ who will be fighting Nick Wayne out of LA Boxing who is a very well rounded fighter. There are many many more fights on the card for that night! And to top it all off these fights will be held at one of the biggest possible venues! The Railcats Steel Yard with over 6000+ capacity it's sure to be
the biggest MMA event in Indiana thus far.
Tickets are going fast for this event and with the fighters signed onto the card its looking to be a sell out event! With it being an outdoor event it's sure to make history.
"You've always got that worry -- what if rains, what if it's too cold," Kolosci said. "You just take whatever's given to you. You're still gonna train just as hard leading all the way up to it."
