"Tim Sylvia is already past his prime, so the only thing he thinks about is the paycheck after the fight. When I’ll take him down and start landing my bombs, he will lose every desire to get up. His handshake at the press conference made me realize that he has a very soft body. I like big and soft people, they are fun to hit. I have to be careful from his striking in the early minutes of the fight, but I am still very confident that it will be a great victory. In two years from now, I would love to fight Fedor Emelianenko. He will rip my head off if we fight today, but in two years it could be a different story. It will be very interesting to see the bookmaker's odds for that fight."

at least he is honest lol i mean he even admits fedor would kill him now and gave it 2 years even before a possible challenge..not like alot of guys who get a couple wins..or even no wins *cough*James Toney*cough* in mma and say they can fight the top guys.

I agree Scream, this dude if very, very likable. It's amazing how much love he's getting for a guy with only 1 mma fight. I like his mindset also, seems grounded but willing to push himself unlike *cough* Lashley. Timmey is a bigger step up than every fighter Lashley has fought to date put together IMO. It's an interesting fight for sure.

Poor Tim, everybody thinks he will get killed in this fight. It just shows what the UFC Heavyweight division used to be made of.

Misfit Wouldn't This Be Better In The Smaller Promotions Thread? Sense The Fight Is Taking Place In A Small Promotion?

I hope he does good the biggest problem is there is no way for him to really train cardio witout losing a ton of his muscle mass. Anybody that big needs alot of blood going to all that muscle and it is a huge strain on the heart and you get tired fast. I seen guys like this (not this big) at local shows and one even fought on the same card as me as a heavyweight and he went for the stars for about 50-60 secs then looked like Tank in the second round of any fight he has ever been in bent over hands on his knees sucking wind. Another big advantage is speed it is hard to throw big punches without telegraphing like Bob Sapp. I really hope he destroys Tim but he better do it quick and close the gap cause Tim got some power and a long ass reach.

Yeah, I would be good with it, not sure which promo is going to pick it up. This fight has been rumored a bit so I'm not real sure if it's going to actually go or not. Feel free to move it buddy, I'm good with it.

Very true Mike, feeding all that muscle will be very tough but he actually does need to lose a lot of muscle if he ever wants to make 265. I think he's around 330ish or something so burning off some of that muscle will be a good thing IMO. It's amazing how much interest this guy is getting for having 1 mma fight. Kinda like Kimbo but with a different type of following.

I know I used to be a huge boxing fan and I dont think I ever missed a rerun of the worlds strongest man on espn classic. And being a fellow pollock I would always cheer for Mariusz and I hope he does well but honestly the odds are stacked against him.

Like Misfit said it would be hard for the UFC to pick him up just because every fight would have to be a catch weight I dont believe he will ever be able to make 265.

I have lost confidence in Timmy, No wait I take that back I cant lose what I never had.

Timmy and Roy Nelson there is the fight, can we have a contest for the best banner for that one? "The flubber blubber cattle battle" all my crypt cash will be on Nelson.

Ah now I am craving a BigMac, where are my keys?
