All welcome to join, we are doing a UFC Fantasy League with a Salary Cap format, ROSTER MUST BE UNDER 5 million. This is our first season so it could be a bit buggy. We will make any adjustment for season 2 which will start August 1st. If there is something you would like to see changed or added, please speak up and we will do what we can. You pick any 10 UFC fighters and keep your total equal or under 5 million. It is up to YOU to make sure your roster is within the 5 mil cap. If it is determined that you are over, you will be fined 25 points and receive 0 points for the events that you were over the cap. The UFC season will run 3 months in length starting May 1st to July 31st. The winner gets 50,000 Crypt Cash, 2nd place gets 25,000 Crypt Cash and 3rd gets 10,000 Crypt Cash.

* Title Fights- If your fighter win's in a Title Fight, you get 15 points, your fighter loses the title fight you get -7 points
* Main Card Fights- If your fighter is on the Official Main Card, and he win's, you get 10 points, your fighter loses, you get -5 points.
* Preliminary Card Fights- If your fighter is on the Preliminary Card, and he wins you get 5 points, your fighter loses, you get -2.
* Finishing Fights- If your fighter finishes the fight (Submission,TKO/KO,or Stoppage/Cuts) you get an extra 2 points.
* Bonus Points- If your fighter gets (Fight of the Night), (Submission of the Night) or (KO of the Night) your fighter gets an extra 5 points.
* Bad Things-If your fighter tested positive for drugs of any kind, or is suspended for any reason (except injuries), your fighter gets -3 points.
* If your fighter misses weight, your fighter gets -1 point for every pound over.


* Roster Changes - You can drop and pick 2 two fighters at/around the end of each month or beginning of the new month depending on when the events fall. However, you will always need to stay at or below your 5 million dollar budget.

It's doesn't matter who you pick, it's a salary cap league meaning you must stay under 5 mil and that's it.

actually dawg, it won't start until UFC 113 which is may 8 then we have UFC 114 May 29. So after UFC 114, we should have a 5ish day window to make 2 roster changes. Unless they sneak some other event in there. So yeah but more like the team you picked until the beginning of June.

Thanks Dawg, been working on this for a while in my head. Got it to paper about 3 weeks ago and wrap up the computer part last night. There might be a few bugs, this first 3 month season will be a good testing ground. Then we might make it a 4 month season and have 3 seasons a year. Always open to input on this and every thing else on the site so bring it.

We might be able to even make it regional down the road. A Canada league, US league and maybe an Overseas League.

If there is a tie, I win :D.. If there is a tie, we will let those tied, carry their roster until the next event with no changes and see if that breaks the tie.

Ok guys, been playing with the schedule a bit. Here's how it's going to work. This first season will be 3 months. Just a trial season to see how it all works and such. It will run from May through the end of July. Season 2 will run starting August 1st until the end of the year which will be 5 months. Then starting Jan 1st of 2011, they will be 6 month seasons, so 2 a year. Members will be able to enter after the start of the season, they will just be starting in the hole from which ever events they missed.

haha, I had looked at a few and 1 guys was up around 8 mil. I'm not good at math so I just made each digit on my finger count as 333k and the thumb was 500k a digit. So, Brock was the thumb and I just counted on my left had. May sounds stupid but I didn't go over :D

Sorry, I haven't been able to find an answer to this so I figured I'd ask here. I'm trying to decide who to pick up in this roster change but I'm wondering if we will have chance to change our roster again before 116 or will this be the last change for 115, Ultimate Fighter Finale (this counts, I assume?), and 116? I don't want to pick 116 guys if I'll be able to change again before then.

I'm gonna say yes... I spoke to Misfit the other day and I believe that during our conversation he did mention that the Fantasy League covers all MMA events.

I think you're correct... the changes post UFC 115 haven't occurred yet, and the thread I referred to was post UFC 114.

Yeah... you can join at anytime, but you'll be at a major disadvantage point-wise like those of us who weren't in the Fantasy League from the beginning because of the obvious advantage of those who have already amassed quite a few points.

There's a 4 or 5 day window around the 1st of every month when u can change 2 players.

I thought that round 1 was finished around the end of July and round 2 would begin in August..?

Things seem to have went pretty well for round 1, but we might see some rule changes for round 2...

Yeah, sorry Stig, this is last seasons league, the new one will start drafting around Dec 1st and the scoring will start Jan 1st and run for 6 months.
