Alex Emelianenko wins gold in Combat Sambo

A national tournament of Combat Sambo was held yesterday in Krasnokamsk,

- Aleksander Emelianenko won the first place and a gold medal.
- Kiril Sidelnikov also took part of the tournament, taking the second place and a silver medal.
- Fedor Emelianenko did not participate in the tournament.

I would love for Alex to make it to the UFC. There are just so many rumors about him having the bad blood. If the Hep. shit is true, no way of it happening. But the longer he stays away from MMA in the states, (due to blood testing), the more the rumor seems to be true.

Yeah that is what it seems like right now, unfortunately. Aleks is a bad motherfucker and I'd love to see him in the UFC against guys like dos Santos and Duffee.

agreed. unfortunately i dont see him in the ufc, or fighting in america ever.
