With Strikeforce's "Evolution" event less than one week away, and the promotion's next major show announced for Jan. 30, the California-based organization is now planning its next "Challengers Series" event.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com (http://www.mmajunkie.com)) has learned from sources close to the promotion that Strikeforce is targeting Jan. 23 for "Strikeforce Challengers VI."
A location and venue for the card has not yet been determined.
There are no rumored fights for the card at this time, but an announcement for the Showtime-broadcast event is expected following the conclusion of Saturday's "Evolution" event.
