It became clearly obvious to me, that Fedor would get beaten by Brock for sure if they ever fight. I've thought that Brock was able to beat Fedor for a while now, and after watching that fight with Rogers, no way do I think Fedor could beat Brock.
Fedor was in a lot of danger at one point in that fight. Rogers was able to control him for many moments and was so much stronger than Fedor. Rogers is not that great of a fighter either. Brock would destroy Rogers and it wouldn't even be close if they fought. If Brock was on top of Fedor and pounding away on Fedor the way Rogers was, I think it's a very good chance that Brock would have TKO'd him, and I'm not sure if Fedor could have ever gotten Brock off of him like he was able to get Rogers off of him.
Brock keeps getting better and better and learning more as well. Fedor is a great fighter that is always fun to watch and has great knockout power and all and is extremely resilient, and yeah anything could happen with a seasoned vet like him against anyone really, but it became clearly obvious to me in that fight that Brock would beat Fedor. I've thought this for a while, but I have no doubts anymore at this point.

That's an interesting opinion.
So are you under the impression that Fedor would prolly train the same for Brock and Rogers? I don't think that would happen. At no point in that fight was I at all worried about Fedor losing. Fedor getting punched in the face, and controlled is NOT something new... but still he has never actually lost a fight.
Fedor > Brock -- And obviously that is just my opinion.

I think Fedor is a much, much better MMA fighter than Brock. However, if the two fight inside a cage with UFC rules. I think Brock wins. Brock just has a skill set that I think beats Fedor inside a cage IMO. In a ring, I think Fedor wins. Them weighing close to the same inside a cage or ring, Fedor wins. But that's not the case, Brock will have close to 50 on him and has a great base on the ground now.

I think Brock would rush in and Fedor would punch him and Brock would go limp. Fedor >Brock in the standup and would test Brocks chin in decisive fashion

I gotta see a lot more out of Brock before I believe he would beat Fedor. Its gonna take more than watching Fedor struggle a bit with Rogers too convince me that he will lose to Brock any time soon.
Hope to find out tho, sooner than later....

That is one reason I wanted to see Carwin so much is to see Brocks chin tested for real.

Heck I wouldn't mind seeing Rogers vs Brock that also would help lesson the divide between Fedor and Brock.
My 2 cents is Brock would do the same thing with Rogers as he did with Mir take him down and hammerfist him for the win.

Shane Carwin Has The Same Chance Brett Rogers Has, A Punchers Chance. And Cain Would Get Tapped Out.

Brock has a chance, but Fedor would beat him 9 times out of 10.
I'm not on the lesnar hype train.

Brock's last few fights have come against Man Choi, Arvloski, Sylvia, and now Rogers. Fedor isn't fighting top competition in this sport on the regular like he was when he was in Pride. He's fighting guys that he can easily beat and guys that are total cans as of late. After while you can get a little rusty from not fighting guys with much more skill. Rogers is pretty good and all, but he would probably barely be a top ten heavy weight in the UFC.
Fedor got thrown around a little in that fight and I think he showed some signs of vulnerability. Everyone acts like this guy is so invincable and flawless as a fighter and that is not the case like people think it is. Rogers was gased after round one and didn't look like he had anything in the tank in round 2. He fought one very active fight in round one where he fought pretty well against Fedor and I can assure you that Rogers wasn't used to fighting any fighters anywhere near Fedor's type of level while Fedor has fought tons of guys like his. Fedor's lack of competition is going to catch up with him by the time he finally steps in an octagon with Brock. Brock will have learned a lot more new things and will have had more fights to gain certain experience that Fedor's been able to gain over the years and the gap of experience won't matter much by that time. IN the end Brock is a lot bigger and stronger and has more potential than anyone alive in the heavyweight division in any organization, so at this point it's just about the time it takes for him to continue to develop and learn more and more about each form of MMA to catch up to many other fighters technique and skill wise. If any of these fighters that are considered top ranked elite fighters they should be trying to fight Brock right now while they still have that advantage from a technique and experience standpoint, because that's all going to fade away the more fights that Brock takes on and the time he gets to train for fights.

I'm not sold that Brock would beat Fedor either. Everytime you count that guy out he finds a way to win.
Brock is a huge guy and has great speed but I think he lacks the stand up discipline needed to soften Fedor up. Even if he took him down he has to sub him which has never happened before or he would have to GnP and get a stoppage before the five minutes were up. Also hasnt happened before.
Then in the second round they start it standing up and I think a little beat up Fedor is a whole lot of trouble in the second round! He adapts to fights and he does it rather quickly....that goes a long way.

A dose of reality for fedor-nuthuggers (Like myself) and Brock haters (again, like myself.): Fedor cuts easy.
He gets cut and bleeds like a stuck pig in most of his matches, regardless of how quick they are.
If Brock was fighting Fedor in a the UFC, he would have the option of shoving Fedor against the cage, which would nullify his armbars, and just stay on top to grind him out.
A round or so of safely delivered abuse would either be enough to get Fedor bleeding enough to make the fight even, or maybe even open the cut enough to have the fight stopped.

And that is the main reason why I think Brock wins inside a cage.
