America's most popular streetfighter Kimbo Slice makes his much-anticipated The Ultimate Fighter 10 fight debut Wednesday night.

An estimated 7 million viewers are expected to tune in at 10 p.m. on Spike TV to see whether the Coral Springs heavyweight wins his opening match against the more-experienced Roy (Big Country) Nelson, a former IFL champion and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt.

The show's first two episodes have been the series' two most-watched events (4.1 million). The previous record was 2.8 million in 2006.

Win or lose, UFC president Dana White has already said that Slice will have a place in the UFC.

The 35-year-old father of six said Monday during a national conference call that he plans to stay with the sport "until the flame burns out" and will join American Top Team Coconut Creek to train full-time with some of the world's top fighters.

On Wednesday afternoon, Slice has his first session scheduled with ATT Master Ricardo Liborio to break down fight films and go over basic positions.

"ATT is a darn good camp and I need a home which is why I am making the move to join ATT," Slice said. "I plan on going up the mountain right now. At no point am I going downhill.

"This is a sport you don't learn overnight. I will be learning this the rest of my life. You're going to learn a lot but you're not going to master anything in two years. I am somewhat of a baby in mixed martial arts."
