Ok, legend is a bit much.

I'm actually not a WWE fan at all, but I like the way Brock brings it. And I'm also more of a fan of Brock when he acts like he did after beating Couture more than I am when he acted like an ass after beating Mir.

But here is why I'm a fan, I doubt many other mma fighter workout harder than Brock does.

I wouldn't say he works harder than other guys, but he does train well. If he can sharpen up his standup game and keep working on his sub defense he will be hard to beat.

The only guy I can think of doing the same type of workout is Sherk so I guess I would kinda agree with you Brock. Not too many fighters are working out harder than him. But Brock really needs to since he got such a late start. However, him is improving in leaps and bounds IMO.

I'm telling you guys, like I said earlier, Brock has the best chance of dominating his weight divison over any other new comer to the game. I think Brock will be the GSP/Silva of his weight class, long long long down the road of being defeated. Even with crappy sub defense he shows amazing skill on the ground. I'm not so blind to see that he has no idea how to sub anyone, but dude, does he need to? LOL, he's a beast man.

He definatly has the potential. My only concern is that both Mir and Coture exposed his standup game...until they got knocked out. I'd like to see him develop a nice jab to use his long reach and set people up for the KO or takedown. He has shown the effort and abiltiy to improve, so I'm sure he will.

Yeah, his standup is a bit stiff but improving every fight from what I can tell. I think somebody like Carwin has the best chance to beat him, after that, I think he owns most UFC HW's pretty easy.

Okay, so I'm new here, but I gotta disagree. Brock Lesnar a lengend??>?? Brock will not be able to handle Carwins striking and reach. Brock loses in my opinion, and Carwin will lose to whoever he defends the belt to. He just doesn't look very well rounded either but he's got better striking than Brock Lesnar for sure!

Not a fan of Brock just yet myself.

There really hasn't been anybody close to his size come fight night that he has fought.

IMO, Randy was doing very well in the stand-up game and he might have had a better chance if he had kept-up the strategy he employed in the first round through the second round as well, but Randy prematurely felt a bit too confident and decided to start striking and trading punches with Brock... not bad for a guy that was out-weighed by 40 to 60 lbs, but ultimately it was a bad decision that cost him.

Again IMO... Brock's skill-set at this point in time is a bit too shallow for a mixed martial artist, as he primarily depends on his sheer size to overpower much smaller opponents by bull-rushing them at the onset of the bout hoping to gain the advantage by winding-up on top to throw those silly looking hammer-fists.

I do have to admit though, those shots that he delivered to Frank Mir between Frank's elbows while on the ground were pretty solid and well placed !

Those was the best shots that I've seen him deliver to an opponent to date, but he's still lacking in his MMA skills overall.

I could become a fan of Brock if he quits the disrespectful games that he carried over from the WWE, and develops some sort of MMA skills... especially some BJJ.

I'm hoping that some talent comes out of this season's TUF show, but from what's been shown up to this point is less than impressive... but who knows how the heavyweight TUF talent will look in a few months from now.

...and I have to say this :

WAR CARWIN !!

I think I said I was joking about the legend part. But you might be right about Carwin, it will be Brock's biggest test. But I can see Brock grounding him out. I know Carwin has some NCAA wrestling also but I haven't seen him use it much in MMA. I wonder if they are going to have to build a stronger cage.
