“I’m holding firm for what I think I deserve. I think I’ve earned that…If they sign me I’ll fight who they want me to fight. Even if I get Silva now, after I beat him Marquardt would be the top contender, so I’d have to fight him next. Beat him now or beat him later, it doesn’t matter. I’ll have to fight Marquardt eventually…If I was the UFC I wouldn’t waste a fight between us. If they want challengers for the middleweight belt they shouldn’t want one of us to beat the other…It all depends on Anderson Silva. If he’s not going to fight until April, I don’t want to wait that long. But I’ll do what I have to do to fight him.”

seems fair to me to pay him more but 350 wasn't bad either. Not sure if Hendo could be ever a real main draw but the guy will fight anybody damn near anywhere.

That's the thing I think he's struggling with is he chose to go to PRIDE instead of staying in the US with the UFC and it's kinda taking it's toll now where he can't get the popularity up because he's never been a stateside draw. IDK, I think he's worth that or more, but I'd say that 500,000 a fight is pushing it. I wouldn't go more than that.

yeah, I agree, half a mil is tops for him but if he were to beat Silva, that would help his name/image a lot.
