Coach: Fedor must make big changes

"I think that at the end of August, we will understand whether Fedor will keep fighting more or not. Most of all, he needs to take a rest and recover. Further, he had a daughter, and he needs to spend some time with his family, think about everything and make a decision. He will relax, recover a bit and again will start training, or the opposite, will say that he has had enough, i.e. "this is enough for me"...But if he decides to continue, then he needs to prepare towards extremely serious work. And entire change his approach to training for fights."
"The most important thing now is --- return to the previous condition that Fedor had: strength, speed, and endurance, and for that he needs to work really hard. Fedor, he he wants to continue fighting, needs to sacrifice all else, and spend at least 6 months to 1 year for his preparation: lift his power, speed and endurance. To return to his previous condition, and after that show everyone what he can do --- like he did earlier in his career" --- thinks Voronov.

Sounds like pretty damn good sound advice to me...........no fucking way M-1 allows that to happen though.

Either or..............maybe the drop to 205, but no way M-1 lets Fedor go Stateside and train, hell I don't even think Fedor wants to at this stage.

Fedor and his management have already announced that Fedor was going back to the canned good aisle at the grocery store instead of the meat market.

He'll mop up the floor with some nobody in Russia in a year or so, and his camp will be talking about how in shape he is now and how he made all of these changes that have brought him back to his old form.

I think if Fedor goes and trains at, say, ATT or AKA..it shows a chink in the Armour of the Fedor "mistique", and shows a weakness in M-1 and the whole Fedor training team. M-1 is losing a little bit of a grip on the Fedor legacy, and a transition to the States, I think, loses another big grip.

IMO that the mystique is long gone and Their grip on any type of legacy has already been severly damaged already. The best thing to do is to go AKA,ATT, or IMO Greg Jacksons would be best.
